Colin Waitt
Director of Strategic Growth

Mr. Waitt is an acclaimed Strategy Analyst and Organizational Improvement leader who facilitates the execution of Performance Management Systems and Strategic Planning initiatives. Mr. Waitt leads executive and management teams in problem solving, and in program evaluation and assessment. He is also well versed in the balanced scorecard framework; and is proficient in training management, developing human capital planning performance management systems and organizational and change improvements for the Departments of State, HHS, Labor and NASA; and Department of Defense; also for the United Kingdom’s (UK’s) Ministry of Defence (MOD), and the Libyan Ministry of Justice.  At the World Food Program (WFP), he participated in an organizational analysis study to strengthen their emergency response which involved general management best practices, supply chain improvements and revised training and process planning requirements for the WFP. In Rome he taught at the NATO Defence College. At the US Courts, he led training for change management, communication and COR responsibilities for HRIT development. With core competencies in program management, organizational change, strategic and business planning, capacity building performance metrics and management, and acquisition solutions, Mr. Waitt applies lessons learned and personal knowledge to ensure that clients’ investments in people, processes, and assets are aligned to achieve the greatest organizational impact.

Mr. Waitt has over 20 years of experience in business development and at AvantGarde he is the Director of Strategic Growth.

Mr. Waitt graduated from Kings College in London with a Master of Arts in War Studies and a Bachelor of Arts in Theology from Hull University. He also has a Certificate in Teaching English as a Second Language from the International College in Rome and is a Lean Six Sigma (LSS) Black Belt.
