Hispanic Heritage Month is always a special time for Rebecca, and on October 8, 2024, she was invited to speak with the faculty and professors of National University as part of their celebration. Invited by Dean Maria Rodriguez and her longtime friend Jerry Gonzales, Jr., MPA, Strategic Partnerships Manager for the Southcentral Region at National University. She shared her inspiring LostGirl story, reflecting on her journey of resilience and leadership.

Hosted by the Whole Person Center at the JFK School of Psychology and Social Sciences, the event focused on overcoming adversity and leading with purpose. Rebecca also shared her Top 3 Truths to Live by in Leadership, encouraging attendees to embrace their identity, lead with integrity, and uplift the next generation. It was a powerful conversation celebrating Hispanic culture, empowerment, and education.
