Rebecca Contreras Delivers Women's Luncheon Keynote at 47th Annual USHCC National Conference

AvantGarde CEO Rebecca Contreras delivered the Women's Luncheon keynote at the 47th Annual United States Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (USHCC) National Conference, held September 15, 2026 at the Fort Worth Convention Center. Rebecca addressed more than 1,200 Hispanic business leaders, CEOs, and chamber executivesfrom across the country, representing a community that contributes over $4 trillion annually to the U.S. GDP. Her keynote, titled "The Force Behind the Numbers," kicked off Hispanic Heritage Month on a national stage.

Rebecca's message centered on four core ideas:

Behind every number is a story.
Behind every business is a dream.
Behind every success is sacrifice.
Behind every legacy is someone who chose to pay it forward.

Drawing from her own journey — detailed in her best-selling book Lost Girl — Rebecca spoke candidly about growing up in poverty, the circumstances that could have defined her future, and the path that led her to serve in the White House before founding AvantGarde. Her central message to the room: success isn't the finish line — it's an assignment. An assignment to open doors, reach back, mentor the next generation, and leave the ladder down for others.

That message carries directly into Rebecca's work with Girls of Legacy, the mentorship and scholarship program she founded to open doors for young women the way others once opened doors for her.
