AvantGarde Gives Back: Girls of Legacy 2026 Fundraiser Celebrates the Next Generation of Leaders

On July 22, AvantGarde proudly sponsored and supported the annual Girls of Legacy Fundraiser, one of our signature AG Gives Back initiatives dedicated to investing in the next generation of women leaders. Held at CENTRO Event Space in Round Rock, Texas, the evening brought together students, mentors, community leaders, sponsors, and supporters to celebrate the remarkable accomplishments of the Girls of Legacy program and raise scholarship funds that help inner-city girls pursue higher education.
Founded by AvantGarde CEO Rebecca Contreras, Girls of Legacy exists to help young women break barriers through mentorship, leadership development, professional opportunities, and educational support. What began as a vision to create opportunities for young women continues to transform lives through lasting relationships and a community committed to their success.
This year's fundraiser marked an especially meaningful milestone as Girls of Legacy celebrated its first cohort of college graduates. Throughout the evening, students shared their educational journeys, reflected on the impact the program has had on their lives, and spoke about the careers and futures they are now preparing to pursue. Their stories served as a powerful reminder that investing in young women creates opportunities that extend far beyond the classroom.
The evening featured inspiring remarks from Rebecca Contreras, recognition of the students and mentors who make the program possible, exciting silent auction opportunities, and the generosity of sponsors and donors whose continued support helps expand opportunities for future Girls of Legacy participants.
