Julia Strange
Project Lead and Senior Training Specialist
Julia Strange is a training and curriculum development professional with 20 years of experience, including over a decade supporting the U.S. military’s Sexual Assault Prevention and Response (SAPR) programs in a variety of Federal and contract roles. She currently serves as AG Project Lead and Senior Training Specialist for the National Guard Bureau SAPR program.

Julia was the first Assistant Director for Prevention at Campus Advocates Respond and Educate (CARE) to Stop Violence at the University of Maryland, College Park. After UMD, she created professional development curricula for the Department of the Air Force SAPR program. She also worked as a Program Analyst for the U.S. Navy’s SAPR program where she specialized in professional development training, supporting over 100 Navy SAPR personnel around the world.

Julia earned her Masters Degree in Social Work from the Catholic University of America in Washington, DC, her Bachelor’s Degree in English Literature from Bowling Green State University in Bowling Green, Ohio, and served a two-year term as a Peace Corps volunteer in Uzbekistan.
